PALM BEACH, Fla. Though he usually focuses criticism on Democrats, top-rated radio host Rush Limbaugh is scorching Republicans as clueless in their efforts to stop President Obama and his health-care agenda, and what he expects to be its disastrous impact on everyday life in America.
Were left with Obamacare, and we are left with a damaged Constitution, and we have a Republican leadership thats clueless in how to slow any of this down, Limbaugh said this afternoon.
If this keeps going this way, were going to lose it all, folks. Unless some people get their heads in the game and focus on what really happened here and what really is happening, were going to go down the tubes.
Limbaugh says last weeks 5-4 ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court upholding President Obamas signature legislation is disastrous, severely damaging the Constitution.
And apparently it hasnt sunk in yet in the Republican establishment how outrageously bad this is, he explained.
This is why Republicans and conservatives make no progress in pushing back massive government. We dont live in Realville. Well, they dont live in Realville. They refuse to accept the reality of whats going on. And so they try to dress it up. They look for silver linings.

Exactly the reason I didn’t vote for this a$$hole in 2006 and won’t in 2012. I won’t vote for Lamar! Alexturd either.
These two make the Maine twins look like hard core conservatives.
And given our publicity loving wimp of a GOP governor and Dem-lite GOP legislature, I wonder why I still live in TN.
Rush has always been the eternal optimist, even after Obama won the election in 2008. He is really negative of late, and with good reason.
What happens when it’s time to panic?
Agreed, and Rush isn’t stupid. He’s just afraid to say it out loud.
—Republicans can pretend to be upset while bellying up to the trough that Obama is graciously providing.—
Yup. I judge people’s motives by their actions, not words. When we had a majority in the congress and a republican president (W), They had their chance to show us what they would do, once in total control. We got bigger government. That is when I left the republican party.
Fool me once, and all that.
Hey, not only are Boehner and McConnell invertebrates, they're DEFINITELY NOT mental giants!
Have to agree with Rush. No point in bashing Romney now but if we’re talking about republicans as a group ....
Rush was talking today about Obama telling that woman he would let her mother die .. and there was no outrage. He is dead on right (pun intended?)
Republicans have allowed insanely outrageous leftism to be accepted as mainstream, because imho they are both cowards and fools.
I’ve said this many times since 2006 - America could survive tyrants like the Marxofascists in the DNC and likewise America could survive a tyrant like Obama.
America CANNOT and WILL NOT Survive the host of fools (half the population) that put such tyrants into power over us.
Looking for a solution by voting for a politician into office is NOT going to stop nor even slow this juggernaut into tyranny. Yet that is where everyone’s attention is focused. So when we get another 2006, 2008, or SCOTUS disappointment like last week - we slide further into despair and again look to vain hope without tackling the root cause and needed action to rectify where we have arrived.
I’m convinced that most Americans have absolutely no clue what time it is, and I think Rush and some others are slowly waking up to recognize this - which is why you are hearing twangs of despair in their countenance. The consequences of what has already been done and cannot be undone are beginning to fester in their minds.
We have been betrayed and will continue to be betrayed. And why not? We betrayed the Trust Providence placed in us to maintain ourselves in religion and morality. So we look to men to solve a moral calamity in our culture that we left to rot by years of lukewarm indifference and compromise with sin. So our faith in men becomes prominent in our minds to save us, which is in itself - a sin in accordance with scripture and what our Founders themselves wrote about the role of morality in maintaining liberty. Meanwhile we look to men and parties of men to save us, and we ourselves create a recipe for more of the same that we are suffering.
There is no way to stop where we are going on current course. The two solutions that remain are both so abhorrent and repulsive to most - that they will never happen. We cannot even agree on the definition of liberty as intended. How can we stand together against those waging war on it?
Only God can save us now - and why should He?
Rush ought to talk
All he did was makes excuses for the wimp GOP from the day the took congress in 94 all the way through the Bush administration
Callers would plead with him to get on the GOP to grow a spine and all he did was chastise them
Exactly right. Rush has always been a huge proponent of "the lesser of two evils" philosophy in politics and would even go so far as to belittle those who tried to tell him it guaranteed a downward spiral. And now he get's it? Too late Rush.
They’re not clueless they’re PC. WHO dreams up PC? WHO is never held to PC “standards”. PC is radiocontrol from the inside (so they don’t even have to trouble themselves to work the little control box).
The worthless piece of crap was quoted in the paper today talking about what a good idea the exchanges were. Here is some primary opposition for him: http://www.zachforsenate.com/
No, not for persecuting gay guys but for letting too many of them have top positions in the Republican party, or for allowing them to become too notorious.
Let's count just the big dogs ~ RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman ~
Mark Foley ~ the issue was his contact with pages/former pages, and the tepid response of several top Republican managers in the House ~ particularly the Speaker, Dennis Hastert.
There were others.
Then we had the clown show with Senator Craig ~ he played around in a public toilet in an airport he didn't have to travel through ~ and got caught ~ pled guilty ~ tried to deny it.
The Democrats played these themes round the clock and the public demonstrated that it does not reward the Republicans with electoral victory when they let the gays into the power suites.
Pretty obvious to me why the GOP didn't show up to help put the GOP-e back in power in 2006.
2012 is probably going to be more of the same unless we get a decent candidate. My goodness this man isn't even friendly.
So if the establishment republicans are not going to repeal it, and they were the ones that assured Romney of the nomination, what does that say about Romney?
As in all things, we shall know our leaders by their actions, not their words.
Romney’s actions were not the actions of a conservative. Mitch McConnell’s words and actions are not the actions of a conservative.
I have no person for whom I can vote for President. Fortunately for my feelings of guilt, a vote for a President in Minnesota is a wasted vote anyway, because it always goes for the candidate closest to the socialist view of the world. The only votes that matter are down ticket.
The court and the Congress and the President are not on our side. That leaves my inalienable right to vote quite meaningless, in my opinion.
I will try to vote as best I can, but it will be with the understanding that events are no longer controlled by the people, but by the power brokers in banking, industry, law, the press, big agriculture, and energy and in so many other arenas.
When obvious solutions to our problems are met with such derision by so many in society, all that is left is to write about the glorious cause, the ineffable challenges and successes of the early republic, and the freedoms we one had. The administration started by talking of the glories of space travel when it retired the Shuttle - how fitting.
We are like the waning days of the empire of ancient Rome, when the Romans neither remembered whom they once were, nor had any vision about whom they could become again. Those that remembered, hated the idea of Rome, and lived from hand to mouth to satisfy their basic needs.
Before there can be a new enlightenment, we must first enter another dark age.
I fear we have done so, now merely awaiting the inevitable wars which temporarily buoy our sense of community, but which bleed us dry fighting over the remnants of what was once the greatest nation on Earth, to which every person on the globe looked for hope and inspiration. They will no longer be wars of liberation, but of hegemony and conquest.
The peoples of the world no longer look to us for inspiration, or as a guide to how freedom can be the guiding principle of an entire society. We offer nothing.
Now they all look to us for largess, and as a scapegoat for all that is evil in the world. We are the sacrificial lamb for all that they have done wrong. We are lead by a President who is holding our necks for the blade.
The best we can do now, is follow the example of the monks in the dark ages. We must preserve the knowledge, the writings, the symbols of the freedom we once had. We must light the wick to keep the fire burning in the still small places in the Earth, we must keep the faith, and hope that when the world is once again fed up with empty promises, the recovery may be made shorter by those who have kept the faith, followed in in the paths of intellectual honesty and integrity, and preserved the flame.
The enlightened few must band together.
We are again entering an epochal cycle that we can only hope is made shorter by the faithful.
“yes, they got some fundraising emails out the door, and they raised a bunch of money.”
Which is ALL they do: use bad news to feather their own nests based on fear. I’ve got no use for any of them.
I cant believe that so many people are still so naive they think the Going On Progressive “party” is still an opposition party to the demoncraps.
We are ruled by a republicrat oligarchy, and the “no third party” crowd will make sure it stays that way.
“The enlightened few must band together.”
Franklin’s original motto of the US:
“Rebellion against tyrants is obedience to God.”
I think it is better than the one on our coins.
Very good.
However, in this world, the tyrants consider themselves gods. Rebellion against tyrants is a rebellion against the gods, and God is the tyrant for setting standards on humanity.
