If course it does. I only need to look at my own mixed family to see that. Mom married 3 times, I was the first, I resemble the female side of her family in phiso make up, short plump and my Celtic heritage shows big time with fair skin and blue eyes. Sister #2 had a different dad, she is tall and she was thin until she hit 40. Dad #3.. Sister #3 and Brother #4 are totally different. Sis 3 is short, model thin and shows her half Italian genes big time, baby Bro is built like his dad but got mom's fair skin.

I WANT ONE OF THESE IN MY ROSE GARDEN. It is called an Osirisa Rose, and yes it is a real genetic altered species. I have Double Delights which are medium pink with a cream center and they are very pretty, this one is just BEAUTIFUL.
