Thanks, JC! I think I’ll take the one in the front, that is tapping his foot. (I think he must have rhythm - and likes music!)
On the other hand..........those two in the back are smiling. I think they are happy, and like a good joke now and then.
Hard to choose a pup from that litter. I like the happy ones in the back. Then again, if someone picked any one of them they’d show a smile too.
I lurked on FR for years..Despite my atrocious typing skills...I signed up for the march to Baghdad..One thing I really liked about FR was its great troop and veteran support.
I am grateful for your service, Dave.
OUST THE OBAMANATION
Precious Puppies, yorkie!
Computer BIG display still exists..I am lucky to have a good supply of saved graphics..I can’t trust doing new ones because it distorts pictures and makes them larger than they are even at 75% instead of 100% zoom level.
I may get a new laptop and send this one to the hospital..I need to wipe everything out and reload windows. Seems that is the only cure for an unknown error that keeps me from being able to install many updates. I’ve been putting it off and now this new problem prompts me to act.
I used to have a desktop for backup but got rid of it because I can’t sit at a computer and also it was an old hand me down.
I downloaded all documents and pictures into a flashdrive last night in preparation.

Feel good post..
I loved your thank you note...Amen
Thank you, Meg. I love that picture of that sweet man. I’ve been following his and Laura’s trip through Pattyvita’s pictures but I didn’t see that one. I am so proud to have lived when he was our President.
I hope that thread is a daily thread!! Is it?? I need to see those things daily so as to keep my chin up!!
When I think that the now President could get 4 more years, it literally tears me up. I pray daily for some change.
Life is a busy enterprise. It seems there are always more things to do, places to go, and people to meet. And while none of us would want a life without meaningful things to do, the fast pace threatens to rob us of the quietness that we need.
When were driving a car, stop signs and other signs warning us to slow down are reminders that to be safe we cant have our foot on the accelerator all the time. We need those kinds of reminders in all aspects of our lives.
The psalmist clearly knew the importance of times of calm and quiet. God Himself rested on the seventh day. And with more messages to preach and more people to heal, Jesus went apart from the crowds and rested a while (Matt. 14:13; Mark 6:31). He knew it wasnt wise to accelerate through life with our gas gauge registering on weary all the time.
When was the last time you could echo the psalmists words, I have calmed and quieted my soul? (Ps. 131:2). Put up a stop sign at the intersection of your busy life. Find a place to be alone. Turn off the distractions that keep you from listening to Gods voice, and let Him speak to you as you read His Word. Let Him refresh your heart and mind with the strength to live life well for His glory.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Nancy Reagan
(Born July 6, 1921)
I was just browsing and found that. I don’t think it is a daily thread..
I miss him.
I pray for our beloved nation, too.
Lovely...Happy Birthday Mrs. Reagan.
Good advice in today’s devotion. Thank you, Rus.
