From what we know of Penn State and Joe’s influence there, I strongly suspected he was one of Sandusky’s boy sex ring cons. He did not think the rape of boys was a big deal. He and others in leadership were most likely involved in passing around the boys on a deeper level.

If the emails are accurate, the Penn State leadership didn't see those boys as rape victims, they saw them as "guests" and I'm not surprised they'd try to keep it under wraps.

Folks, there is zero evidence Paterno influence anyone to cover things up. None. There is nothing in the emails which says....Joe says we should do X.....nothing. Curley references talking with Joe when he is talking to his superiors. There is no evidence the conversation took place and Curley is on trial for perjury.

Paterno testified before the grand jury and the legal process says he testified truthfully. Not so for Curley and Shultz.
