There is more coverage of the SCOTUS ruling than the Holder contempt vote

Looking at the social sites today... there is just much more coverage of the SCOTUS ruling.

IMO the contempt vote was ... well... more important.

Am I wrong and why isn't it being covered as much?

They’re both important.

If the repubs were smart, they would have waited for a day or two.

The Holder vote was a “Dog and Pony Show”, nothing will come of it. Even more futile than impeaching Clinton.

That’s another stupid thing our genius republicans did - schedule that vote the same day as the supremes announcement. Got totally buried, and it would have been regardless of which way the supremes ruled.

Yeah... that’s what I’m thinking.

The Holder thing is being dwarfed by all the nuances of the health care ruling.

I disagree.. Holder actually spoke today... I wonder how many caught it.

He said, “Gun trafficking is a big problem.”

I thought... @##$%$%^.

The contempt vote was just a gesture to appease the base. It has no teeth. There are no penalties. Republicans will not pursue impeachment or arrest. It was only political posturing.

The Supreme Court ruling has turned us into a country where tax based slavery and socialism are now a fact. The little bone from the house will not change that.

Yup, I saw that coming when I had learned that the vote would be on the same day as the SCOTUS ruling.

Wrong. The ObamaTax decision is far more important.

Holder is scum, to be sure. But we are far from turning him into a thorn in the side of the average voter. The MSM has made sure morons of that ilk have not even heard of F&F, much less Eric Holder's role in it, much less Barack Obama's!

The ACA, on the other hand, is a thing of beauty! It's a tax on the little people — precisely what the Won promised he wouldn't do! It's why there are no jobs! It's why the grown kids have to live at home! This fact needs to be driven home relentlessly between now and November!

And the House thing had WAY MORE DRAMA...

The Dems walked out... Nancy held hands with the black senator...you know the one...the one who said he heard the n-word....during the healthcare debate.

Eric Holder is a corrupt Attorney General who will barely be remembered 20 years from now.

However, the Supreme Court ruling sets a precedent for this country that says any American can be forced by the federal government to do anything or be penalized for refusing to do it. Traitor John Roberts and the 4 Clinton-Obama liberals on the court just took a whole lotta freedom away from every single American. That’s a million times more important than a contempt vote on a piece of crap like Eric Holder.

ACA just took control of 8% to 9% of the USA GDP, forever.

Fast and Furious left a few nameless foreigners dead.

Each year, every year, forever, more people will die from ACA than the hundreds of F&F guns in Mexico and the US Southwest.

At the moment, the United States Senate is melanin-challenged.

Perhaps you were thinking of James Clyburn, D-SC06, who, along with Madame Speaker, suffered a loss of status in the wake of 2010. Here was Rush's analysis, a few days after the election:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUrekoO-b4k

in which Rush proposes a simple solution to Clyburn's and Pelosi's reduction in station: "Driving Miss Nancy" should be Clyburn's new gig.

"Solved problem. He makes it look easy, but it's not." LOL!

It's why there are no jobs!

It is why I haven't hired anyone--and why I won't until it is gone.

It is also a penalty on those who don't have a job, because they are still smacked with the 'tax'--and as a tax, the government can strip them of any and all assets to collect it.

Now, however, the Republicans can push a repeal act through the House and leave the Dems in the Senate who vote to kill it holding the barf bag in November--but only if the 'pubbies can present this as what it is, and not some freebie for the po' folks.

It's why the grown kids have to live at home! This fact needs to be driven home relentlessly between now and November!

Precisely.

Holder's being found in contempt is historical: he's the first USAG to be so found. Unfortunately, few will realize the significance of that.

I use it to get another “Never Voted” or MSNBC/CNN idiot to “VOTE” because they really do Hate OBAMA now.

Hold their hands, take them to the Polls

We have to beat the Dead Vote and we have to beat them Badly ... We need the Mandate so we can hold our so called “Representatives” feet to the FIRE... scare the Crap out of them ...

I have other ways but I prefer to go to Prison for not submitting to Obama Care ... and I will (not give away what kind of Hell they have Imported)

TT

Put it this way, Winston's Julia, consider the world your grandchildren will live in in which Barak Hussein Obama or his spiritual reincarnation jams through a left-wing Congress a law which compels abortion of all second children or the payment of a "tax" of $100,000. Inconceivable? Have another look at this opinion.

It wasn’t covered as much because Holder won’t be around, in any event, for longer than 4 more years. The SCOTUS decision will be affecting everyone for the rest of our lives.

.......like watching your broken down car on the crossing get taken apart by a speeding freight.......and worrying if you left the lights on.
Holder was and is, Odungo’s Monica, (watch this as we do that).......it doesn’t matter to people what happens to Holder as long as the President has “the pardon”. Sure it’s embarrassing, but only to people who have morals.
