I don’t understand why people are so enamored with snopes. They’ve been busted several times for false information in the past.
Snopes is run by a husband-and-wife team who do a little bit of extra research and call “experts” to verify/disprove internet claims. They’re also agenda-driven, so much of their information is dubious.
