That would be a useful parallel if Mac users were pounding on the machine with a hammer prior to the crash. Don’t hold the operating system responsible when a third-party application fails.
In the case of Toyota, there never were any inadvertent accelerations. Stupid drivers stepped on the wrong pedal.
