Oh, we liked it! It’s a different kind of scary. Of course, I like Bradbury’s stuff, as it is.

Good. I can't relate to it.

No one can relate to it, because it is fantastic, just like lots of fiction stories.
It was a nice tribute to Mr. Bradbury shortly after his death.

Vision,
The Halloween Tree is a very secular fantasy fiction story about (partly) the history of Halloween throughout the world. I just find it--I hate to say it, but--enchanting, although godless.
Amazon description is here
You may or may not like it as I do. Although it is not science fiction proper, it is fantastical.

I’ll try to check it out when in need of a scary story.

These US Steel commercials make me sad. Such great companies gone.

Good to see you too! Weather was brutal here this week. Almost 100 degrees the other day...
Son-in-law cut the grass yesterday because my husband broke leg standing on step-stool while trimming bushes. I injured shoulder moving heavy flower pot.
It was a crazy week!

Sounds like it. Hope this one goes better.

Vision, it’s not really a scary story, just “exhilarating.” Kinda takes you back to when we were kids—maybe—depends on our kidhoods.

Oh, no! That’s awful that your husband broke a bone! Oh, I do hope he will heal up nicely—and you, too, with your shoulder!

Goodnight, Vision!
I’ve never heard so many one-liners in my life than in this last episode!

Yes. There were a lot of great one liners all night. Jack Webb was king of them. There was one along the lines of “you know the thing about old friends, they burn out” which had me laughing.
