The bigger part of the story is not the third gun, but the FBI’s paid informant and close pal, who was also (and still is) a sadistic assassin with many murders of innocents to his “credit.”

And this was just the sort of fellow consorting with dirty federal agents during Fast and Furious on both sides of the border, then killing a federal agent (Terry) and still being protected by other dirty federal agents.

I remember when I had respect for the FBI. The few Special Agents I knew had great integrity. That ethos seems to be gone, from Waco and Ruby Ridge onward until now.

Your post brought to mind the way this murderous change happened. According to records now available, the BUsh admin progra(s) was allowing weapons into the hands of suspected smugglers, BUT the weapons were fitted with tracking devices whiah allowed interdiction of the smugglers and weapons before they were transported to Mexico. when the Holder/Obama regime began F&F, agents in AZ were at first astonished when told to NOT TRACK the weapons and in fact allow known smugglers to purchase untraceable weapons and take them to Mexico. Wire taps show that agents actually wanted confirmation of such a change in policy before they would release controls on the weaponry in question and the stores where purchases were made were demanding 'second opinions' when told to let the untraceable weeaponry go with these known smugglers.

At least one of these incredulous agents is now a whistle blower. If these criminal acts by the Holder/Obama regime are not prosecuted, then the law as a restriction to government lawlessness is broken beyond repair. For that reson if for no other, prosecutions must happen if any integrity is to be restored to these departments under Just Us department leadership. The criminals who gave the orders to change the program must be taken down and I fear the feckless pubbies will not do it this close to voting. Their positions in DC are more imprtant to them than OUR Rule of Law. we have become a ruled people, a thugocracy now rules America.

And is there not evidence that the FBI furnished the gun purchasers with the money to buy the guns? Do I remember that tidbit correctly?

We have had this. ALL of it. It’s about damn time the msm is in that rare place where they can NOT keep avoiding it.
Furthermore, they should ALL choke on it as many times as possible.

Considering that the FBI was started by a fairy queen, spends taxpayer moneies on keeping records on people for no reason other than to destroy them politically, screws up investigation after investigation, has shot or killed innocents without prosecution, jails people for lying to them when they lie to everyone else, etc., I have never had respect for the Famous But Incompetents.

Unnamed agencies have done more to keep this nation safe than anything the FBI has ever done.

My uncle Denny was a White House Detail Secret Service Agent. Before I went in the Army, I had a long talk with him about the possibility of going into a fed law enforcement job after I got out, assuming I survived my combat arms MOS. This was a couple of years after the JFK hit, and he told me to forget it. The only ones with the slightest professionalism left were the Border Patrol and the Postal Inspection Service. And half a decade later, they were no longer what they had once been either, and now are but a ghost of what they might have once been.
