Also in REMENISCENCES, iirc, it was the Nachmannofs who wrote that they were all excited election night about Sr.’s son being elected but that they hadn’t even known there was a child.
You know all this, as do most of us from reading it years ago, but some might not.
REMENISCENCES showed a number of letters written by people who were students that knew him, who socialized with him, and not one of them mentioned he was married or had a child...in Hawaii.
