You mean because one street number has an ‘r’ in front of it and other has an ‘h’?
I don’t know why that is. I have been told that ‘h’ stands for householder, and ‘r’ stands for resident.
Don’t forget, I’m an Aussie, we don’t have Polk directories, we have telephone directories, and they show nothing about the listed person’s occupation etc...I imagine you might have a better idea of what those letters might mean?
