First of all babies are not artificially inseminated: eggs are....the baby comes later

Second point...it's called the immaculate conception not artificial conception...

I doubt she understands how completely offensive her statement was...

It’s a common mistake but actually, the Immaculate Conception refers to the conception of Mary, not Jesus. Catholic dogma teaches that Mary was conceived without sin (”immaculate”).
