It could be a subjective appearance. This is easy to say, and never satisfying, but I think it is often the case. Even in mundane situations you can be caught where you misinterpret something as a bizarre object, then quickly realize what it really is and have a little laugh over it.

My thought in this case is that if it were moving slowly enough, and if this was indeed what you saw, it could appear to jump ahead as its position changed. Not particularly convincing, I know, but things like this do happen.

Also, this satellite was in view for only about 5 minutes. If it’s a candidate at all would depend on the timing, of course. I’ll just add that if I run my Starry Night at 300X real time at any location and time, it shows satellites jumping around like popcorn.

I NEVER say for certain that little green men exist. I do say that they may exist but until I get definitive proof one way or the other, I will keep wondering and keeping my mind open to all possibilities.

Can you say the same thing?

Will MOST people be willing to say the same thing or will they just accept standard conventions and ridicule those who are open to alternative possibilities?
