No it actually supports MY position that the Family is the primary factor in the development of the child and the School does not cause the damage that you whine about. Of course you would have to have actually read and understood what was being said in the article.
You would think that someone who claims to be so highly educated would be able to realize that.
Please read posts #2 and #24 by savagesusie and SaraJohnson. Evidently, I am not alone in my opinion.
I have known wonderful families, with outstanding fathers. Sadly, in cases where all of the children are doing well in the family, except one or two, I have heard without a single exception the statement, “It was the friends they met in school.” And...Without exception the next statement is, “It started in Junior High.” The next sentence is, “We moved here because of the ‘good” schools”.
I agree with Sara Johnson. Kids do well IN SPITE of their so-called “good” , factory-like, prison-like, GODLESS, government school.
I agree with Savagesusie. Femininazis are rampant in the government schools. Gays will soon be, too. If not already. Progressives ( communists) have controlled teacher and curriculum development from the beginning of compulsory socialist schooling in the mid-1800s to early 1900s. That we have the moral muck called “public” schooling today was inevitable, and the cultural and family disintegration that is the result should not be surprising. The mission in life of the progressives ( communists), feminazis, and homosexuals and the Useful Idiots riding their train to Gomorrah is to destroy healthy manhood and the family.
I completely agree with Savagesusie’s following statement:
“The cultural Marxists established Sex Ed in schools to destroy Virtue and morality in children so they will treat sex like a commodity—with no meaning which needs to be the glue in marriage. Men do not do well when they have no self-mastery and no will power. Stoics used to be plentiful in America—now it is rare quality. Virtue is being redefined to mean evil....now sodomy is good and if kids don’t like the behavior they are homophobes. Gay is cool in schools now. They have normalized sodomy. Gays target males and destroy the idea of true friendship between males. Trust is destroyed. Males who tie “sex” to friendship are sick and unable to control their base urges. They are mentally ill and we glorify it.”
My advice to fathers is stand firm. Protect your children from the evil so well described by Savagesusie, Sara Johnson, myself, and many others here on Free Republic. Strongly encourage and support your wife in keeping your kids at home and under her protective and nurturing care. Join with others to shut down the pits of ignorance and depravity that is commonly ( and **wrongly**) called “good” government schooling.
Do that and in a generation of two the culture will improve and the media will, as well.
And.... Verga, you and other “professional” government teachers have **never**provided links to studies that prove government owned and run, factory-like, and socialist-entitlement schooling actually teaches anything. Where are the studies that separate that actually learned in the classroom from that which is acquired due to the herculean efforts IN THE HOME of the parents, the child ( himself), and that of paid or unpaid tutoring?
