The only way we are going to restore liberty is by something big happening in a short amount of time. We aren't going to gradually do anything to get back our liberty. I have heard a lot of Conservatives say we must wait to change one thing at a time, but that has been shown to be impossible. We have steadily moved to the left while losing our freedoms for years under everyone of our Presidents. It can't be changed without something bigger happening, and maybe Obama’s much more blatant unconstitutional leadership will awaken enough people.

The people and the States must cause conflict with the federal government in refusing to obey obvious unconstitutional mandates coming from the out of control federal government. These States must be willing to risk everything to back their freedom. They should refuse to acknowledge the federal governments unconstitutional powers without going through ridiculous court battles that are obviously unnecessary. Then they should stop collecting federal taxes when threatened with funds being withheld. Once they have started they shouldn't back down for anything, including the threat of being occupied by federal forces. I don't think it would ever get to that level because it's just not the same time as our first civil war, and the federal government isn't going to have the support or will to escalate something like this. But a state must be willing to say it will oppose any federal forces with force. They would need to make clear to everyone in government, and the federal forces that would be responsible for occupying a state, that if they take it that far it will result in bloodshed.

I doubt it would come to that, but without letting it be known that you can't be controlled without paying a toll, one that many are not willing to pay, they will walk all over any state that confronts it. We are so far gone we have to take some chances, or accept living under tyranny because that's what we have been living under for a long time, and we haven't changed anything whatsoever with our plans of slowly turning things around.

G-d, family and country, in that order, I say. Our nation began as a nation of Puritans, Sephardim (see George Washington's letters to them), Huguenots and the like (less than 1% other at the time of our Constitution).

Let's see how far the correction goes--Greco-Roman secular legalisms or farther and better.
