My question: Can I boo or heckle at these type of high-profile FLOTUS events?

Depends on whether you think making your disapproval known is more important than celebrating your daughter's achievement - odds are you won't be able to do both. Booing or heckling will anger others in the audience, some of whom also aren't fans of this administration. You might also be removed by security.

I'd look at it this way - your daughter had to listen to multiple professors with liberal viewpoints for far longer than you'll be exposed to the First Lady. She dealt with it, kept her eyes on the prize for four years and now gets the degree she worked for. You can do it for one afternoon. Commencement speakers really aren't the point of graduation ceremonies.

In my opinion, heckling achieves both. Time for conservatives to stop being so squishy. I'm not talking about throwing eggs or banging drums, for goodness' sakes, just tossing in a word (or "boo") or two.
