I don’t think it’s that hard to ship, when I’ve called the airlines just to check on it and from talking with other breeders it seems fairly easy but we just have not done it. What’s interesting is that USDA is claiming a lot of people are getting “sick” dogs because they are not seeing them before purchase, BUT...the dogs need to have a health certificate stating that they are healthy and must be vet checked within 10 days of shipping. If dogs are being sent sick to their new owners, why are the veterinarians signing off on them? Why aren’t THEY being looked into for being shoddy vets?

I happily paid for a proper "vet check" before my pup was shipped.

Some of the 'complaints' may be due to change in diet, drinking water, etc. Assuming the USDA is not lying. But I never assume that any more.
