4.1-Magnitude Quake Jolts Yorba Linda

YORBA LINDA (CBS) — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.1 struck in Orange County Wednesday night.

The temblor was centered two miles north of Yorba Linda at 8:17 p.m., according to the USGS.

The quake was felt as far away as Long Beach and the Inland Empire

OK Dog lovers....

My dog went CRAZY SCARED this afternoon over nothing that we could see. It would’ve been about 3 hours prior to this quake. She’s pretty much calm now...

Is it a coincidence or...can they tell that far in advance?

Hmmmmm, I don’t live all that far from there and I did not feel a thing here in Cypress.

We felt it in Murrieta. Just a little gentle swaying and some window rattling.

Naaaaaa........that would’ve been a 9.3, complete with tsunami.

Interesting. I just ran a quick computer query and learned that in about 350 BC in Greece, dogs particularly along with other animals behaved frantically three days before a massive earthquake hit. The article followed up saying that dogs have very sensitive auditory systems and can pick up frequencies we humans miss.
I love dogs :-)
