She doesn’t come across as terribly bright or devout, unfortunately. We don’t set rules? of course we don’t, God does, and it’s called the Bible. my SIL questioned what sort of church she attends if she is this ignorant of biblical teaching. And apparently she made the calculated call that embracing the Ghey will bring in more fans than it cuts loose.
She grew up Baptist so I’m sure she is well acquainted with the Bible but I think in her profession she comes across a lot of gay folk. I also think she’s a very savvy professional in handling her career. I think she will hear some pushback from this. Her husband helps with Room in the Inn, the program lots of our churches provide during the cold months. He and Shane Doan are Christian leaders on their respective teams and communities and good friends.
