President Obama's top campaign strategist, David Axelrod, said Sunday that the country needs to "accelerate" job creation in the private sector -- by hiring more teachers, police and firefighters.

We're supposed to ignore the fact that cities, counties, and states find themselves with much less tax revenue now than they had ten years ago. The Left think no one should lose their job, even if that job is really not necessary and/or even if it takes federal tax money to save it.
During the boom years, government unions were "creating" new job titles like crazy to add to their rolls (more dues payers!) and adding ultra-rich benefits to keep the unionistas happy and on board!
The IRONY in this headline makes the perfect intro for an ad - Obama's plan to help the private sector is --- hire more government workers!
Yesterday, someone on Fox News Sunday said we must stop calling them "public sector employees" and start calling them what they actually are - government union workers. Isn't it time we stop letting liberals set the tone in every argument, determining the terminology that favors their side?!!!
A few come to mind:
"public servants"
"women's choice" (It never represents the choice NOT to have an abortion!)
"contraceptives" - (abortifacients ARE NOT contraceptives!)
"collective bargaining"
"diversity"
"fair share"
"disenfranchised"
"It takes a Villages...." (ugh)
I'm sure you can think of more?
Here is another good link about the abuse of liberal talking points!

Come on - there must be dozens out there!
Anyone know the Producer of Red Eye on Fox? Have him read this and other brilliant proclimations from the Libs this week and just let the panel break out into hysteric laughter after each one. When they compose themselves, read another...repeat ;)
Great idea! I love REd Eye! Too bad they don’t rerun it during the day!
Stupidity should be met with ridicule. People could care less about facts, but make them laugh and suddenly they listen to whatever you tell them. The Daily Show mines that ore to great effect. So can we. And the beauty is that the lib comments especially this week are nothing but comedy.
Eggs...celent point!
I am, however, somewhat encouraged by the fact that a few commentators have caught the bigger meaning of Obama’s “gaffe”. It’s starting to seep through that it wasn’t a mistake at all...he meant what he said.
True socialist brilliance. If your spouse is unemployed, just hire them yourself. Then you are both employed and everything is better. To make everything wonderful, pay your spouse a huge salary, then your family will be rolling in cash.
That is the way Obama was explining it in his press conference. He showed his total ignorance of Free Enterprise.
Where in God’s green earth does Obama think that we in the private sector will be “helped” by more bureaucrats limiting, dictating, restricting, fining, charging, overseeing and showing up at our doors saying “I am from the government, and I am here to help” (which REALLY means ‘I am here to relieve you of your liberty, your property and your money and efforts)?
He has NOT been in the private sector, and why does he think he can speak for us? Arrogant, prima donna, narcissistic, know it all A$$.
