I really liked that list, when it was first published -- because it showed that there were lots of better ways to spend the money being wasted on "fighting global warming". You called it "leftist gibberish"; and perhaps it was written in lefty speak. That's why it was so effective at the time -- it turned all the "we're trying to save the world" feel-good crap back on the warmists, and presented them with some real inconvenient truths.
It wouldn't be my personal list of "world priorities" -- but, it was a list. I should have made all that more clear on first posting. My list would have to include security for western civilization, for instance. In keeping with the theme of this thread; I'd also add more space exploration -- and exploitation. What would you put on your list?

I do, however, encourage the promotion of first principles here in the USA.
