How sad.
My Godson is being raised by such a “mother.” She slung false charges against Daddy until an investigation gave her full control, then put the boy on prescribed psychotropics & set about robbing him of his childhood. At six, he’s now spent half his life being told he’s so bad he needs fixing with drugs & it’s all the fault of a Daddy he hasn’t seen in all that time.

But you are here posting and seem to’ve survived - painfully, but with sanity intact and knowing to keep your poisonous father at a distance. I grieve with you, but in the knowledge that my Godson is only beginning a hard, hard life.
if i can pass along anything - you need to boost that kids self esteem at every opportunity
