My sympathies. It's a situation where the person is turning a deaf ear to the truth. Well, God is love. I've known my share of at least narcissistic socio types. You have to love them because they're fun, they're funny, and ... like the guy wrote, the kind of folks people gravitate to at barbecues and such.

I can't stop loving this one person -- but I understand that I can only love her at a distance -- pretty much the distance of memory. I politely decline any relations. I hope your family member ends up deciding to love the sociopath from a safe distance. Prayers up for you. Care to share any details, or is it too ... just, too?

It’s almost like losing someone sane to a cult. I pray for this person to have a Damascus road experience, I beg God to fight for his lost sheep and help this person escape from this snare.
