There is another thread, posted just a few minutes after this one. Ray is worth at least 2 threads. (I'm sure there will be more).

Ray Bradbury's passing marks the end of an era.

Bradbury, Asimov, and Heinlein were my favorite writers, as I was growing up.

I heard Mr. Bradbury do interviews on Coast to Coast AM a few times. You could from his voice tell he was entering his 9th decade, but he was still all there.
