I am awed by your patriotic fervor. However, I would prefer to live in a country where a private individual could choose all manner of things regarding his own property, money, investments. The Civil Rights Commisar is no friend to democracy. Ditto ADA. I would so much prefer a leftist nut be permitted to rent to whom he aligned with, which would mean that a Christian is not obligated to rent his property to a couple of limp-wrists. Why would this, as you say brave warrior, want to rent from an anti-American?

I’m with you. Keep the Government out of this, and let private citizens handle it.

I disagree.
Wars should not be treated as they are today. But that is a larger point that what you are suggesting.

Probably didn’t know it at the time, and found out why later.
If I were that veteran, I’d sue the pants off that landlord.

This “brave warrior” liked the apartment and wanted to rent it! He served through two deployments, came home and wanted to put this particular roof over his head! I find it despicable that he was told he wasn't wanted in this apartment building. There was a time in this country when those willing to give their lives in service to this country were held in the highest regard! That is probably why that gerneration is often referred to as the greatest generation!

As does the former marine who runs the local diner
and the former Army grunt that runs the auto repair shop
The former Seabee that does construction work....
