I remember watching all his matches on Saturday mornings. That Flying Hammerlock move of his was a killer!
He is actually a very intelligent man and I believe he possesses a number of degrees.

The Animal vs Bruno Sammartino
Bruno is still hanging around Pittsburgh. He can often be seen in the city's better Italian eateries.

I wonder if he ever went against Torrie Wilson !!!!!
Let your imagination run wild.
Just a thought !!??

To be accurate, former wrestler George “The Animal” Steele was in the movie “Ed Wood” playing former wrestler Tor “The Super Swedish Angel” Johnson in the movie “Plan 9 from Outer Space”.
One of Johnny Depp’s (and Tim Burton’s) better films, IMHO.

Ric Flair threw out the first pitch at Busch Stadium once, and he was almost as wimpy as Obama. I was shocked!

Remember the ‘Love Triangle’ gag, (From Saturday Night’s Main Event about 1986 or so), between The Animal, Miss Elizabeth and The Macho Man? Now that was some funny stuff!

Wow....every saturday nite around 7pm....Studio wrestling. Sure it was fake but it was a hoot. And whenever the Animal would rip open a turnbuckle and rub the sawdust into the eyes of his foe it would bring boos in the house.

Also an actor (he played wrestler Tor Johnson in Ed Wood) What do you mean "also an actor"? Professional wrestling is acting.

George was always my favorite. I loved it when he chewed up the turnbuckles!!
