Wow. Never saw them in Kansas. We used to see lots of them on the road driving back from Lake Elsinore. They’d come out onto the asphalt to keep warm I guess.
This was in the extreme South of Kansas. I noticed they were also in Oklahoma in that same general area.
They would be all over the highway. I supposed they were migrating but maybe it was to keep warm.
