After 7 innings Mets and pitcher Santana are 6 outs from their first no hitter in their 50 Year history. Don't hold your breath.
Thanks. Following it here...
He’s at 107 pitches to start the 8th, so he’s battling the pitch count plus the Cards line-up. As a Twins fan, I still like Johan. I hope he gets it.
Two outs on six pitches in the eighth.
Its exciting to watch. A week or so back, Justin Verlander got to batter number 2 in the 9th inning before finally giving up a hit. That would have been no hitter number 3 for him.
Are the Mets still a doormat?
you jinxed it now.
LOL that’s why I waited till after the hit when Verlander had one going a while back.
That’s the Cubs
Do they still play the blues in Chicago
When baseball season rolls around
When the snow melts away,
Do the Cubbies still play
In their ivy-covered burial ground
When I was a boy they were my pride and joy
But now they only bring fatigue
To the home of the brave
The land of the free
And the doormat of the National League

No Hitter! After 8,020 games!
WOOOOHOOOOO!
Congratulations! Santana
GREAT! Thnx for a link to ultimately the video.
Had to happen someday.
I guess you didn’t jinx it! : )
