Not to mention when you are down about 80 feet its rather inconvenient to surface just to pee.

besides the pressure shrinks your bladder which make you go pee more.

Fish do it so it must be ok.

Among divers there is a saying; there are those who pee in their wetsuits, and those who lie about it.

I have a friend who does this when diving during the winter. It keeps her warm, or so she says.

Depends on the water temp, if she’s winter diving it does provide a short term burst of warmth. Then you realize why you’re smiling and pull the suit away from your body to flush out the pee.

Do it up current from your dive buddy and then laugh. Ahh the joys of juvenile behavior.

hehe. Unless you have a UTI or bladder infection, urine is sterile-- just a bunch of chemicals that smell funny.

And when down 80 ft it then also becomes a good way to warm up. Its friggen cold that deep.
