It was “joy” as you said, to hear my Auntie answer her phone at her own house today. She says there is a layer of black ash in the house even though her house was as closed up as possible while she was gone.
The Colorado Springs Gazette website confirmed today that around 300 homes have been lost.
May God comfort those who lost their homes.
