I saw it posted in an article on the Charlotte Observer at http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2012/05/25/3267043/bill-clinton-to-headline-25000.html listed down in the comments.
Commenter at the place you referenced said the following:
Michelle just posted a pic 20 years ago of them on Facebook, look at the tag on the car where it was taken...hmm.

I went to the Michelle Obama facebook page and it is indeed there, along with 17,566 comments, one of which is from Gedion Njeru who asks, “Where was this Kenya?”
