Afflatus
Noun
[Latin affltus, from past participle of afflre, to breathe on : ad-, ad- + flre, to blow; see bhl- in Indo-European roots.]
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

Yes. I’m not sure if he’ll be biking or jogging that day but he told me about his birthday 4 months ago, saying he hoped he’d make it. He’s in great shape for someone half his age.
of course i can. one can’t think that way though, bc we are DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE! that’s the only way to describe life these days. NOTHING MAKES SENSE, everything is upside down. add in that 40 Catholic institutions sued the administration over loss of religious freedom. The Arlington Catholic Herald had a good write up on that yesterday, listing the various parties to the suit. Archbishop Carroll HS in DC is one of them. They did a good job in putting together a list of petitioners, covering all of the bases of things that the Catholic church does.
The novocaine is wearing off and my face/lip itches but scratching it does NOTHING bc i am numb and cannot feel my own touch! it’s maddening!
Please take a painkiller before the numbness wears off completely. I know what a stoic you are, but it’s hard to catch up once pain gets ahead.
