I would add that the plotline, that the US government had fallen under the control of a terrorist organization, requiring that the betrayed elite military unit seek to “start the ‘Second American Revolution’ by waging black operations against the Cobra that have taken control of the U.S government” might appeal just a BIT TOO MUCH to certain people to be allowed just before the election.
Do you have a link to the INTERNATIONAL trailer? That one is quite a bit different than the American one, and probably even more unnerving...
