"Not in proportion to their use."

Prove it.

Also Facebook is way more than you anti-facebook/twitter snobs make it out to be.

Example: The Tea Party movement was organized on Facebook and Twitter and because of such it grew huge and powerful. Why? because it gives everyday people the power to organize and send a message to literally hundreds of millions of people and allows them to bypass the chokehold the MSM has on radio/tv.

Entrepreneurs are using these platforms tp get there products/services direct to customers who show interest in such things instead of the outdated mode of blindly throwing expensive commercials on TV and Radio they can target their message to an audience who actually wants to hear their message.

Independent Writers and Musicians use these platforms to promote their wares to people who show interest in their respective genres and by doing so on Facebook and Twitter they break the stranglehold the liberals have on Literature and Music through their control of Big Media. And now the independent Movie Makers are starting to do the same bypassing theaters and going direct to video and Internet with some really astonishing good work and mostly you will find such is way more profamily/conservative values than Hollyweird ever produced.

Oh and the bit about video games? Colleges and the military use them to teach complicated procedures and to simulate real life stressful situations to teach.

In fact the Air Force went all in on using video game type training tools when one young recruit blew away his colleagues in real flight training. How did he mange it? by playing flight simulator video games for most of his youth. BTW the Army recruiting centers are now built around video games. They have a host of terminals youngsters can use to immerse themselves in real life Combat situations to see which job in the Army they are interested in. They even have video game simulators on their recruiting pages.

Further Businesses are using video games to train employees and the Medical profession as well.

So when you see a kid sitting in front of his TV/computer and clicking away on his controller/keyboard he is in fact becoming proficient at interfacing with the training tools of the 21st century.
