An ego game that would be harmless if kept within the bounds of this blog since the membership is so tiny — but propagates out as “how could you possibly think of voting Mitt Romney this fall?”
And this is a herd of cats that could not even agree on Herman Cain vs. Rick Perry vs. Rick Santorum vs. Newt Gingrich!! Any of which would have been superior to Mitt.

What Sarah didn’t say is more significant....Avoiding mentioning Romney’s name as the GOP nominee in the same sentence.... She only said ‘ABO’ or “the GOP nominee” genreically but mentioned in helping getting conservatives elected in the Senate or House
In her newsletters to her supporters the other day, she never mentioned Romney’s name anywhere...Hmmm!

wow now I won’t be able to sleep tonight. guess I’ll just have to stay up and find that list for you.

Non Romney delegates are the only path to getting a “constitutional conservative” and that would call for more than the “ABO” hidey hole provides all these oils and pundits. It would call for the remaining primaries to deliver delegates to one non-Romney candidate.
Santorum and Gingrich remain suspended, not dead. Paul is still working the process, the only one with a determined strategy to buck the system and strain the GOPE command center. Is that not amazing?
Regardless of his reasons he just never quit.

"...you have to at least run for office before you can become the nominee...." No. You don't. Running for office increases greatly the liklihood of the delegates at the Convention making you their selection, but those delegates can name whoever they decide is the best Republican for the job.
Just to be completely factual.

This says of course, “hey if you think you can pull an upset and obtain a brokered convention to get somebody else nominated, be my guest and I won’t interfere.” She’s being quite tactful and proper and trying not to hit the ABR hornets nest. As for me, I got yet hornets nest wacker right here!

She also said she will work to get constitutional conservatives elected Well, which is it? Is she trying to get Romney elected, or is she trying to get constitutional conservatives elected?

No, you’ll just go blow smoke on some other thread trying to sell a whitewashed jackass as a white horse. I think it will work, and the sale will be made. That still won’t change the jackass into a horse.

I remember one thread alone with the title something about voting *FOR* obama. There were a whole lot more than 3 or 4 cheering him/her on.
To: Bigtigermike
Don't confuse them with the facts, BTM. It harshes their buzz. They're all coveyed up, chins out and feeling good about themselves and their guy--re-playing Mittens as Madonna in `Desperately Seeking Sarah ('s endorsement)'. And they're thin-skinned. You would think by this point they would come to the realization that there's no crying in politics.

There have been numerous FReepers who have said they would support Obama rather than Mittens. That is a fact. And there are numerous others who are effectively campaigning for Obama and won't admit it.

We probably should do a run-off election between the top 2 finishers like they do in other countries. But I bet we never will.

“And there are numerous others who are effectively campaigning for Obama and won’t admit it.”
And there are far more supporting the functional equivalent.

If by splitting the baby you mean rejecting both leftists I would have to agree. If by "rejecting both leftists" you mean "campaigning against Romney" I would have to agree.
