Info
It’s a Lux night with a Navy story and Pat O’Brien.
Just say NO to NPR.
Hello, Friends!
Vision, I hope you had a good week. Any news?
It’s just busy-busy for us. I’m getting ready to do laundry and a little housework. Got us some beef steaks for the grill.
This is not about NPR. This is about old-time radio. In fact, the Big Broadcast is likely the ONLY pro-American thing on any NPR station across the country.

This weekend has been work. Had a slightly harrowing experience with a landscaping installation and yesterday almost broke myself in staining the front porch. Expected to be able to get two coats on the porch. Started at 10am and at 5:30 I rain out of stain with one step left on the first coat. Parts of my hand are still numb.
How are you? Steaks sound great. I'm reheating a ribeye from last night with m potatoes. FYI, Home Depot is supposed to have a Kingsford charcoal sale starting Friday or so, last year it was 2 20lb packs for less than $8.
Good evening!
Bless your heart, Vision! You’re working like a Turk! And, isn’t that just about right—running out of stain with just a little to go?! Then you get “carpal tunnel” to boot! :-)
What a great price on Kingsford charcoal! You can’t beat that deal! Thanks for the tip.
We’re doing fine, other than being swamped with work we can barely get to due to the big volume of it.
Howdy, Dr. Scarpetta! Are you doing well and staying cool?
Absolutely perfect day here. Just relaxing at the moment...
Good, good!
Here we go... :-)
Evening Doc, how’s the weekend?
Can’t ever remember hearing this bass line music before on JD.
This middle of may song is wonderful...happy music for happy people.
HA! Vision, I was just coming on here to say how very much I love this song!
It kinda reminds me of the Sunny Side of the Street.
People might not be happy enough nowadays to like a song like that. The faster lifestyles now probably keep many people from enjoying the feel of a particular month. Anyway, wish they made music like that now.
