I have some purple tomatoes, but they have yet to bud. I’m really looking forward to the fruit. Gardening is exciting, when something new is growing, and you’re wondering what it will taste like.

Do you recall the name of the purple tomato? I’m not ‘connext’ enough to get blue plants or seeds from anybody I trade with or know. Was it Indigo Rose? I’m hoping someone around Austin will have some plants before Sept. as I want to try them, as a fall crop.

My gardening conditions are brutal in every aspect, and no 2” seedling has a chance in my rodeo.
