I know they have the running gear, but was not sure the frame was heavy enough. I have a F350, but went with a Freightliner FL60 for heavier towing. My limit with it is the 32K air ride hitch I have on it... That and the 26k non-CDL rating...

That pic is about the same size and configuration as my old Ford F600 except my ford was an antique and had a longer bed and taller wheels, but had the rear axle all the way to the rear like that. It had a transmission driven winch(with 1” steel cable) in the front of the bed that would seriously pull ANYTHING up onto the bed. That old truck was a 5 speed with the first 4 gears all incredibly low gears and 5th being a huge jump to a max speed of 50MPH. First was so slow you could walk next to it and keep up. I have no idea what it’s original intended purpose was. Someone once told me they thought it was an old roughneckers rig but I have no idea. It made a very good tow vehicle with a homemade bumper hitch especially with the rear axle right up against the rear bumper.
