God bless your daughters. I was at Bible study the other evening and I mentioned that one of the old guys at our church had drove a Higgin’s Boat (landing craft) on D-Day/ Normandy. One of the gals said something like “It seemed there were braver people back then”.
I then told several stories of brave men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan that I have read on FR over the years. Ending with “they are still out there - and a lot of them are are 20, 21, 22 years old. There’s still hope for this country yet.”
She replied “I wish we would hear more of those stories”.
