Webster's Dictionary is the place most American English speakers go to for definitions of words. Just so we can be clear what Misogyny means since it is not all that common of a word. If you have a problem with this definition, take it up with Webster's not me. Definition of MISOGYNY : a hatred of women — miso·gy·nic adjective — mi·sog·y·nist noun or adjective — mi·sog·y·nis·tic adjective Origin of MISOGYNY Greek misogynia, from misein to hate + gynē woman — more at queen First Known Use: circa 1656 Other Psychology Terms

Yes, and in that dictionary there is a secondary meaning right next to the first which is also understood and it is not as heavy as hatred. I think it is splitting hairs to differentiate between some anger and hatred to be honest. But I prefer to write in such a way as to being about some understanding , rather than to just cause a stir or incite people to react. That is why I used that word rather than “hates women”...I think it is clear to awake people that the youtube we know is the subject that I used that word in, is very much blaming women with no explaination of men's fault in it all which is critical! But that was not the reason I wrote my article, which has gotten quite a response, thank God.
