I don’t know if it’s true in Texas or not, but in SC, it’s so easy to win as a Republican, that many political animals that are not necessarily conservative become Republicans in this state. That leads to the country club GOP set that opposed Nikki Haley and its the same base Graham started playing too after being a more conservative House member. The ease of winning sort of becomes a detriment in a sense.
Too bad we can’t have two Jim DeMints’ from SC. (And Texas and Georgia for that matter).
anybody listed as a supporter on the web sites for RMSP Main Streeters or It’s My Party or whatever claiming to be the cat’s meow for the GoP.. Vote them out.
Texas is really a mixed bag. Sanctuary cities - Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin - are becoming bastions of liberalism and growing lots of RINO’s, particularly Austin which on occasion is referred to as the San Francisco of Texas. Suburbs and rural areas tend Conservative and there are lots of them but the population in these areas is smaller and cannot overcome the big cities. Lots of Hispanics which would seem to vote primarily Democrat.
And then, of course, we have Sheila Jackson Lee and Malcolm X who is our version of Sharpton/Jackson. Registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans. It has been said that had even a somewhat small portion of them who voted for BO in 2008 shown up to vote for the Democrat Governor candidate in our last election, Rick Perry would not have been successful. We are one of the fastest growing states and unfortunately too many of our new citizens tend to bring their liberal leanings with them.
And we now have a new problem - hundreds of unaccompanied children, some as young as 8 or 9, are coming across the border from countries south of us in a steady stream. Yet another problem the Federal government won’t admit is happening or provide any assistance. Lots of medical and educational problems with this batch. Our two RINO Senators are again AWOL.
Yes, pretty much everyone affiliated with http://www.republicanmainstreet.org/members/
Their favorite game is playing Rotating RINOs to advance liberalism.
Also, those affiliated with No Labels that perpetuate the lie that Giffords’ shooting was because of conservative rhetoric.

yup, morphic-like orgs that reek of those prone to chameleonic behaviour .. they can turn green,, yellow, even red.. on a dime. yours. ;-)
Seriously, I would say 95% of the so called republicans are rino’s and are not true conservatives! The easier question would be which ones are not rino’s and are true conservatives.Betcha it would be a short list and you could probably count them on one hand, maybe two.
Which republicans are trying hard to protect our borders, our language and our culture?
Which republicans are pushing strong Ronald Reagan conservatism?
Shouldn’t there be republicans speaking out against obama and the left in congress almost on a daily basis? All I hear is crickets chirping!!!!
Unfortunately, you’re right. Those of us on the right have become too used to compromising on the lesser of two evils. We haven’t had a candidate who represented our values since 1984.
