More people voted for Walker yesterday than for the 2 Democrats running in the primary. If that is any measure of things.
I’m sorry, but that is not true. First of all, there were 4 Democrats running yesterday and one “fake” Democrat — just to make sure that there would be a Primary — to keep all but one of the dems from pulling out at the last minute. In addition, there was a “fake” Republican opposing Walker, just to be sure that the Republicans turned out and voted on the Republican ticket (instead of creating mischief on the Dem ticket).
If you subract the votes from the “fake” Dem and also subtract the votes from the “fake” Republican running on the Republican side, that adds up to about 25,000 votes. And then give those 25,000 votes to Walker. Walker squeaks out a victory over the sum of the remaining Democrats.
So, it is going to be very close in June unless the Dems stay home, and we turn out even more Republicans.
