After the election, the dems will treat nobama like he’s got the clap. It’ll be “obama-who”. Count on it, the dems always look out for “their” cushy deal and “their” future.
They only need 51 for a quorum and therefore only 35 for a valid vote.
Executive orders is legislating via fiat of the executive branch. The constitution is very clear this is a function of the legislative branch, which is congress.
Obama will pass every imaginable communist treaty he can before he leaves office.
Obama’s replacement has a case of Bic lighters for his first day in office.
That probably deserves a thread in itself. He can't pardon state prisoners like Mumia Abu-Jamal, but pretty much any federal inmate with a union or Democrat Party connection will get out of jail free.
But the immediate focus must be in making sure that the Obamination is not reelected. We will have the mass bussing of those dependent upon Government, as well as multiple voting, to deal with, before anyone can relax & breathe easy.

Thats not going to happen. Its going to take 67 votes to get the Law of the Sea or the small arms treaty passed and there are not 67 votes in existence.
If you are that worried about it then call your senators and make sure they know which way to vote. I’m not worried about it and I’m still going to call my 2 potted plants.
I have no faith in the GOP to make sure that they are in place at votes. They were out maneuvered on Obamacare so they do not have a go track record. I have communicated with my meatheads; unfortunately one is Lugar who wants LOST.
Never underestimate the political power of a strong threat of blackmail.
Like it or not, he was sworn in as President. He took the Oath of Office. His terrm runs until 2013 (unless re-elected) or Impeachment and Conviction. And then it is a matter of history.
There is no mechanism to “undo” the actions of a prior administration except for repealing legislagtion by congressional vote or executing executive orders as allowable.
I really enjoyed the hysteria in Obama’s voice at the empty arena the other day. Glenn Beck had me rolling in my car seat as he made fun of Obama’s utterly staged breathlessness.
With any luck the tea party candidate will win tonight. Lugar will hopefully be going home for good.
How will BHO get 2/3 of the Senate to approve these?
With an existing Dem majority (almost all the “blue dogs” have been run off by the leftist progressives) and enough RINOS there, it’s a very real and frightening possibility. These treaties will be sugar-coated and presented as wonderful things. Our few strong voices there, like Rubio and (Rand) Paul, will need to be eloquent and dominant on the floor.
I wish I could’ve found video of the entire Morris interview segment on Hannity, but the best I came up with is this 4+ min. segment from a blog. The Hannity interview enumerated in some detail a lot of these treaties (I’ll keep looking), but this one isn’t a bad overview:
Another one who’s been pushing some of these treaties is the infamous Dick Luger - thankfully we got rid of him tonight!!!
(Of course, he like some others, will be able to do lame duck damage along with BHO before leaving office.)
Obama’s stack of pardons will only be eclipsed by his stack of executive orders.
They will need to evict him from the oval office by armed guard and pry the pen from his hand with a crowbar.
” Does that mean everything he has done is undone? Im just curious. I dont really much about this scenario, I was just doing a little wishful thinking this morning over coffee.”
Yes, it does mean that everything he’s done would be null and void. But I’m afraid your wishful thinking is in supposing that “they” address the constitutional eligibility issue “hanging over” Obama (does he seem like he’s worried about it?). Oh, some have tried and they get routinely, summarily ignored and/or shut down.
Wonder what Sheriff Joe’s doing lately on this.
“He’s gay? So his marriage to a woman is a cover?”
Nah, I think he just has that unfortunate demeanor. I worked with a guy like that - you’d swear he was gay because he was soft-spoken and a bit effeminate, but he was straight all the way and crazy about his wife.
Actually, there was a time when DM was known as a womanizer and had a scandal involving, I believe, a prostitute.
But I like his guts in saying the things he says and he’s a pretty sharp strategist, prognosticator and inspiring speaker. He was a brilliant advisor to Slick Willie, and now (since he became a conservative) he despises both Clintons and has frequently exposed them. He made a movie about Hillary to release during the primary in ‘08 and got sued for it. He’s a gutsy conservative.
“Dems get help from folks like Lugar. He is especially enamored of treaties that surrender US sovereignty.”
And those that would disarm us as well - he’s long been a non-nukes guy (at least where OUR nukes are concerned).
Good riddance.
“1. He cannot usurp the Constitution”
Uh, he’s been doing just that ever since he took office, and it gets worse all the time. No one seems to have the guts to challenge him.
“2. He will never ever get a 2/3rd affirmation in the Senate.”
He only needs to have 2/3 of those present AT THE TIME of the vote.
I agree with what you said re Dick Morris in your post #57. I wish he were Romney’s adviser now that he (Romney) is our only chance to remove the great usurper. And yes, Morris was in a scandal some years ago, having to do with a hooker and sucking on some toes. But he deserves credit for evolving into a battling conservative, as you also indicated.
