I was really kinda getting in Stargate Universe and then those b-tards cancelled it.
I was really intruiged about the “machine ships” that were attacking the destiny and what happened to the “time paradox” crew that had settled and created a civilisation and had somehow vanished. I wanted to know how the machines ships were connected to them. Also the culture of the people was quite interesting too.
I wouldn’t mind a mini-series to tie up loose ends. I loved the actors involved too, except for a few.
Given the choioce though I wish they had continued Atlantis for a few more seasons instead of starting universe.
Universe was fine, but I really enjoyed Atlantis, it was a very fun series and I loved Rodney McKay and John Sheppard and really liked when they added Robert Picardo to the cast.
Another episode could settle the plot twists and decide the coming war against the weapons built by 'the machine ships'
It's a brilliant fool proof program. Take two more bites out of the magic Stargate apple that has fed thousands of everyday actors, production, special effects and make-up people. It's a no brainer to put these projects forward.
Picardo, as an actor, was a great addition. And Woolsey was a character that genuinely grew over the years he appeared on the different Stargates, making him actually a logical choice to replace Col. Carter. He was much less annoying than his initial appearances (but the same could be said for McKay -- you can't have the regulars *that* annoying and expect people to keep watching them or liking them.)
Personally sgu was my favorite of all the stargate series.
aww yeah Atlantis was cool
SGA was a good series. Like the original SG1, there was good chemistry between the actors.
