Nope. She is a professional driver because of her gender. By definition, an affirmative action hire.

Apparently you think that more qualified individuals should not get a job because they are of a more "advantaged" race or gender. We'll have to just agree to disagree on this one.

no. the field is full of drivers who don’t win, but Danica is keeping another out. but in your world the boys get a pass. go get some sponsors and take the car away from her. it’s about money dude. free enterprise. NASCAR is a non-government oganization. i have nothing else to say to you since you can’t frame an argument, you’re dragging me down.

I would note that she manages to do pretty well in most of her races, better than many of the drivers she races against.

If she was only there for affirmative action, and wasn’t as good as any of the male drivers in the races, wouldn’t she mostly come in last?

And if there are other drivers who, as you claim, can’t get in the races because of her, wouldn’t they be able to beat out, say, one of the 20 or so drivers who were worse than her in this race, and thus win a position?
