I just voted for Newt in the NY primary.
I’m not pro Romney, I’m ANTI Obama.
Whoever is on the ballot in November who doesn’t spell their name OBAMA, gets my vote.

Well, here’s one difference. On this interview Romney’s preaching that his mandated socialist compulsory health insurance plan is better than Obama’s mandated socialist compulsory health insurance plan:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqq6h7HmERE&feature=related

The main difference is that his his socialist plan is forced on formerly free citizens at the state level where Obama’s socialist plan is forced at the federal level. But on the other hand, he’s suggesting it would be great if all states did it, so then there’d be no difference at all.

He also claimed in this interview that he did it without raising taxes in Massachusetts. But in other interviews, he boasts that he kept the cost down in Massachusetts by getting the federal tax payers to pay half of the cost. Slick, eh?

Furthermore, he claims that now under his plan all insurance companies must cover all conditions for everyone (without raising taxes or costs). Number one, again, that’s government force and it’s socialism. Costs will soar (and did soar in Massachusetts). Does he really think that the insurance companies will simply absorb the additional costs? Or will he try to force them to absorb the costs?

RomneyCare is conservative? No, sounds more like socialist/fascism, ie, totalitarianism to me. Sounded that way to Ronald Reagan, too, when he warned us about it.

Google Ronald Reagan on socialists introducing socialism into America through compulsory health insurance.

Further, check our keyword: “bondi.”

http://www.freerepublic.com/tag/bondi/index?tab=articles

Romney is already establishing his national healthcare task force to push compulsory health insurance into all 50 states at the state level. Pam Bondi boasts that they already have 26 states lined up.

Romney = Obama in all respects except HIS socialist brand of mandated compulsory health insurance (including abortion and death panels and high costs) will be brought to us by the Republicans (and they won’t fight it). It’s already on the way. Ask Pam Bondi. She let the cat out of the bag on Fox’s Greta.

It’s being destroyed by both parties. If Romney’s elected, we’ll take a giant leap FORWARD (into socialism) via state level mandated compulsory health insurance with the Republicans pushing it. It’ll be their turn.

I can actually go to my congressman’s office

That's incredible. I hope it doesn't require you to get dog sniffed, scanned, xrayed, scoped, detected and searched. Where you live I'm sure there are coffee and donuts while waiting to speak to the good honorable congresspeople.

TBS, I have visions of calling my congress person and actually speaking to them. But they're always in meetings, in conference, out of town, or hiking in the Sierras. Out of cell range of course.... Then ya flip on the tube and there they are, winking, smiling, while complementing their bosses and coworkers. The good ones crack cute quips as the beauty model media wonks bat their eyes, swooning and smiling at answers. The more clever the quip, the better. Did ya ever notice everyone on these shows are having a great time? It's all quite humorous, but only once a year or so.

Anyway.... As the the interview quickly progresses, questions turn to the family dog, vacation habits and where he or her played football and tag. What they ate for lunch, and what new public office are they shooting for are always popular topics.

I do enjoy your comments Julia. Is Winston your husband?

WE CANNOT SURVIVE FOUR MORE YEARS OF an OBAMA THAT FEARS NOTHING.

* * * * *

Yes. Yes, yes, yes. He would fear nothing. That odious man must go. Toward that end, I will be voting Obama out of office (please, God, hear this prayer!!) by voting for Mittens. (Sigh.)

I wanted to use a flamethrower (a figurative one — named Newt) to cleanse the White House. That option has passed. If all that we have left to clean out the White House is some kinda wimpy toilet paper (insert Candidate’s name here!) then that’s what I’ll use.

Let me just say this:

If my choice on this November's ballot is between Obama vs. a Steaming Pile of Crap, I'll vote for the Steaming Pile of Crap.

It just so happens that IMO, the Republican Party is nominating just that: a big Steaming Pile of Crap.

In 2008, I was at the point of being sick and tired of voting for Steaming Piles of Crap and really didn't want to hold my nose anymore. Then McCain picked Palin. I didn't vote for McCain, I voted for Palin.

While I certainly won't be voting "for" Romney this year, rather I'll be voting AGAINST Obama, my prayer is that Romney has the intelligence to at least pick an acceptable CONSERVATIVE V.P. to give me a modicum of reason to not hold my nose this year.

Unfortunatley, that's probably the best we can do this year but again as I said, my mind is that I'll vote for a Steaming Pile of CRAP over Obama. Good thing Steaming Pile of Crap is on the ballot.

Keep Calm
Stay Low
Good Luck!

73's,
USC.

Charles Henrickson:

It is hard, at least for Catholics, to persist in a spirit of conviviality when we have a choice between two major party candidates BOTH of whom have a demonstrated track record of persecuting at least the Roman Catholic Church to which we belong. What each of them would do to us as Catholics, each of them would gladly do to any resisting Southern Baptists, Missouri Synod or Wisconsin Evangelical Synod Lutherans, Evangelicals, Pentecostals, Eastern Orthodox, Chassidic and other Orthodox Jews and others whose faith and morality requires resistance to the schemes of the likes of Romney as well as of Obozo.

Romney established persecution of Catholics as Massachusetts public policy as governor of Massachusetts AFTER he supposedly became pro-life (in 2005) when in 2006 he established Romneycare and its mandates that require Catholic bishops, priests and administrators (anyone signing checks for health insurance as a Catholic in Catholic institutions including schools, hospitals, etc.) to subsidize birth control and abortion pills and sterilizations through said "insurance schemes." He or she who is Catholic and signs the checks must choose between fines or prison for violating the laws of Caesar (Romney) or living a life of mortal sin qualifying in Catholic doctrine for eternity in hell for disobedience to God. Under Obozocare and the Sebelius regulations, it is the same. The disposition of my immortal soul DOES NOT BELONG TO CAESAR and I will not render it to him, even if CAESAR has bought the GOP nomination for POTUS.

I don't, in light of that little problem, really give a sh*t whether the Mittwit is posing as a fiscal conservative on any given day, claiming to support "conservative fiscal ideals" or not but in any event with his fingers crossed behind his back as always they are. He is a stone serial liar so what he "supports" means absolutely nothing except to folks who like to be lied to.

Again, Romney MANDATED abortion subsidy in Taxachusetts. He MANDATED that Town Clerks issue "gay marriage" licenses in the aftermath of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decision on perversion posing as "marriage" being some sort of "right" under John Adams' constitution for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He famously instituted Romneycare and then sent HIS experts to check in with Obama to craft Obozocare.

When the wind attempts to pass in through my left ear and then out my right ear, it meets resistance that prevents that passage. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING trustworthy about Romney any more than about Obozo. We may be Republicans but we have no obligation whatsoever to be (literally) damned fools.

I have respected you, Charles, too much for too many years to imagine that you do not understand and agree with that. The potential nomination of the Massachusetts trashbag is not a Rodney King moment for Republicans or conservatives. If I should wind up the very last member of the anti-Romney resistance here, so be it. I suspect that I shall actually have plenty of company in voting against both of these sorry POS candidates in November.

Lindsay Lohan and Brittany Spears are not in danger of being named as tea-totalling drug free second stage virgins of the year and Willard Mitt Romney is in no danger of being perceived as a born-again conservative by anyone familiar with his decades long habits of serial self-serving political dishonesty. He has no beliefs, no principles and no political morality whatsoever. He should be a confessed Demonrat but Obozo already held that ground along with Barney Frank, Gloria Allred, Richard Blumenthal, Barbara Boxer, and so many others who are indistinguishable from Romney and Obozo.

No honeymoon. No feel good moments. No compromises. No sell outs. RULE OR RUIN. Now and forever.

Romney used his corrupt Wall Street buddies of limitless wealth to BUY the GOP nomination by carpet bombing the airwaves in primary state after primary state with a relentless campaign of lies, slanders, calumnies and libels against each and every decent GOP candidate of actual conservative principle. He spent not one nickel laying out any vision, much less a credible vision of what Romney seeks to accomplish as POTUS. What would he DO about the babies, guns, marriages, specific standards for choosing SCOTUS and other judges, Obozocare, envirowhackoism, global "climate change" or whatever this week's delusional Demoncraft term may be, cap and trade, military policy, war on terror, public sector pensions, Social Security, Medicare (for the elderly), Israel, Islamofascism, SPECIFICS as to rebuilding the American economy, American jobs policy, international globaloney including trade almighty and GATT and WTO and NAFTA and all those other sovereignty-sapping schemes, just to name a few unaddressed issues? It was all: Vote for Romney because he is not Santorum, Gingrich, Cain, Perry, Bachmann, etc., while bashing each conservative opponent for minor peccadilloes and diverting any and all attention of superficial voters from the major political crimes which are, and always have been, the hallmark of the two-faced career of Willard Mitt Romney.

And now, we are supposed to just shut up, play make believe and fall in line for this sorry SOB as though he were the second coming of Ronaldus Maximus????? I don't think so! We would like to tell ourselves that our lives have meaning and that we have a real choice in November. Our lives DO have meaning but we have NO meaningful major party choice this November. Vote for Mitt because, well, just because he is not Obozo just is NOT enough reason. If we put up with Willard as though he were acceptable, we will NEVER get another GOP POTUS candidate worth voting for. We shall have defined ourselves as gullible suckers, inveterate fools and hopeless pollyannas. That's not how I define myself. How about the rest of you who have read this post????

"If I should wind up the very last member of the anti-Romney resistance here, so be it."

No, that will be me. As much as you abhor him, for me, it is infinitely more. I would consider it a point of honor to have on my tombstone, "He stopped THAT man from becoming President." That's how I see it, and I don't particularly give a damn if it bothers anyone else. It's sad that some don't quite grasp exactly what the phrase, "ANYONE But Obama" means. That one word is asking for a profound amount of trouble, and to those of that single-mindedness, they shall receive.

Such an office of power cannot be trusted to an "anyone", but to a specific someone. For those that think I don't detest Zero, they're very much in error. I'm just not going to be stupid enough to mindlessly put someone who has been raised as his life's mission, to obliterate the Conservative cause using the GOP as a vehicle.

I know who and what Willard is. He is not only morally and ethically unfit for office, he is mentally unfit, as his pathological lying, sociopathic and megalomaniacal behavior demonstrate (similar traits observed of his slightly tanner brother in the WH). It is absolutely unimaginable an affirmative vote for EITHER of those two could be construed as preferable or tolerable if one considers themself to be a pro-Constitutional Conservative. We have no obligation to follow that disordered & demented route of marching off a cliff because Republican leaders and enforcers demand it of us. We do have a moral obligation to say "no" to this abomination. My marching orders come from the Lord. Not from Karl Rove or anyone else.

The American people have made their expectations known for many years, regarding much smaller government, secured borders, end subsiding millions of illegals, less taxes, less controlling, intrusive government etc

We got none of that Julie. Just the opposite in fact.

I used to think the same thing, but I have to disagree with you. The American voters are so ignorant that they will vote more enthusiastically for the idiots on American Idol than they will for a government that the founders wanted us to have.

I live in the most conservative county in Florida (maybe in the U.S.). I just finished reading the Sunday paper and the letters to the editor made me want to throw up. Here is one of them:

Say you’re sorry

Quickly approaching is the winter solstice, Dec. 21, 2012. With the predictions of the Mayan calendar and the continued unsustainable growth and increasing associated demands of the human race, our survival is questionable.

Have any of you considered where you want to spend this day? Do you feel that Mother Nature deserves an apology from the human race? I have and I do, and I would like to extend an invitation for you to join me in the very first Apology Day.

Many know the place as the American Stonehenge. East of Athens, Ga., beside Highway 77 in the middle of nowhere, lies a monument consisting of six slabs of granite, 19-plus feet tall, astronomically aligned and erected in 1980.

On the slabs are 10 messages to an “age of reason.”

MAINTAIN HUMANITY UNDER 500,000,000 IN PERPETUAL BALANCE WITH NATURE.

GUIDE REPRODUCTION WISELY, IMPROVING FITNESS AND DIVERSITY.

UNITE HUMANITY WITH A LIVING LANGUAGE.

RULE PASSION, FAITH, TRADITION AND ALL THINGS WITH TEMPERED REASON.

PROTECT PEOPLE AND NATIONS WITH FAIR LAWS AND JUST COURTS.

LET ALL NATIONS RULE INTERNALLY, RESOLVING EXTERNAL DISPUTES IN A WORLD COURT.

AVOID PETTY LAWS AND USELESS OFFICIALS.

BALANCE PERSONAL RIGHTS WITH SOCIAL DUTIES.

PRIZE TRUTH, BEAUTY, LOVE, SEEKING HARMONY WITH THE INFINITE.

BE NOT A CANCER ON THE EARTH. LEAVE ROOM FOR NATURE.

If this makes sense to you, and if you would like these messages made more public and you feel a gnawing guilt about how atrociously our species has treated Mother Nature and her creations, e-mail me at ApologyDay@hotmail.com  .

As another example of 'springing eternal', I'm going to hang onto the sliver of hope that something happens in Tampa to pleasantly surprise us all.

It being too early on a Sunday morning for my aging brain to be sufficiently engaged,
I would recommend to you hinckley buzzard's excellent post here.

His take on the current political landscape strikes an intuitive chord within me for accuracy/realism.

However, tho having recommended thus, I continue to loathe Romney as the slimey untrustworthy chameleon that he's shown himself to be.
But even more than that, I despise the RNC for its continued gutlessness in the face of the greatest internal security threat in America's history.

My 1/100,000,000th say in the matter is still hoping for something resonant to ring out between now and November re the Conservative voice.
Like you, I voted for Sarah in '08, tho well-earned pessimism makes me doubt such a 'sweetener' will be on offer this time.

In a nation that's the home of so very many amazingly talented citizens, how how how have we ended up with such a monumental CF ? !

Another four years of the Reichnegro will very likely mean the end of the Republic.
