So why are you celebrating the 1862 victory of Mexican troops over French forces? Why do you care about their history/celebrations? It would have been much better, IMO, to have celebrated the establishment of the Republic of Texas on March 2nd (Texas Independence Day).

Down here in Texas was sure do celebrate Texas Independence Day this year myself and 8 other son’s of the Republic went to a popular Mexican restaurant at happy hour sat down got shitty drunk on Shiner Bock ( a Texas legend in beer) , and played Pat Green, and George Strait all afternoon on the juke box while Texas 2 stepping all over the bar with our girlfriends. The bartenders also Native Texans thought it was hilarious we chose to come to a Mexican restaurant where the kitchen staff was all fresh across the border and rub there noses in it ha ha eat that Mexicans. We were sure not to order food, and tipped our fellow Texan bartenders 40% too.
I did. Leading up to the date, I flew the Goliad Flag and the Gonzalez Flag of 1835. Now I need to have a custom Moseley Baker San Felipe flag made.
And don't forget to fly your appropriate flag on San Jacinto Day (April 21).
