That's the critical point. Our goal is not just to defeat the particular big government liberal currently occupying our White House, it's to defeat big government liberalism. If the choice really is Obama/Romney, then we cannot defeat liberalism at the executive level and we must defeat it in Congress. We need, far more than ever before, to get every conservative to the polls in November so that we can repeat the landslide of 2010. We need a House that will propose and pass responsible spending bills with a balanced budget. We need a Senate that will reject liberal activist judicial nominees and demand a judiciary that defers to the Constitution of the United States as the "Supreme Law of the Land". It's our job as voters to make that happen in spite of the GOP-e shenanigans.
We also need to work harder to win over the undecided and the next generation. We need patriotic Americans working in the public schools to provide balance to kids who are trapped in a liberal cesspool. We need honest Americans in journalism. We need to continue having children and raising them with traditional values as the far left aborts their children or chooses relationships that cannot produce a new generation. We need to speak out when liberals make silly assertions while counting on us to keep quiet to keep the peace.
To say “I won’t endorse Romney” is meaningless.
Missing from this commentary is the meaningful statement, “I won’t vote for Romney.”
If the author truly believes that Constitutional Conservatism, or reform conservatism, is at stake and it’s “a matter of survival,” why does she write that “Im going to have to work up the nerve to pull the lever for him?”
The nerve?
If you vote for him, you feed the animal that will return for more. Don’t feed the bears. They will return and destroy your house.
