Only thing I ever pulled out of them that looked pretty much hard core reality was when you get a flip you can expect the start of the next glaciation pretty soon ~ and that would be in line with cosmic ray thesis as well.
So, more cosmic rays getting through charges up atoms that make sulphuric acid molecules that make more clouds that reflect more Sunlight and it gets colder.
If we double or triple the effect with a pole change on Earth, bet that's a humdinger of a coldwave ~ BTW, we are about 5,000 years overdue for the next glacial advance anyway.
As long as we agree that a 'flip' doesn't happen quickly. It takes time. A long time. And that is when Earth may be unprotected.
Once it has 'flipped' 180 degrees, then things will be back to normal.
I will, however, have been dead for 10,000 years.
