No, you miss the point. What the hell was Palin supposed to do as gov of Alaska to stop a vote by democrat senators. What was Demint supposed to do, he was 1 of 40 that voted against it. Why was Demint 1 of 40? Because a whole lot of “conservatives” stayed home, and many even voted for Obama, according to exit polls. If you put more tpartiers in congress, you can stop this from happening again. We should be putting our efforts into getting rid of Hatch and Lugar, instead of tearing each other apart over Romney.

You Still miss the point....this should have never been brought to a vote...never...'the people' spoke and said no...they phoned...they marched...they said no. None stopped it.. the show went on none the less....and it was a show. We can split hairs all we want but the bottom line is they put it it to a vote... and the 'people's' will was ignored.

[political parties]...." may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people.... and to usurp for Themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion"......
